Cannon Beach

We spent the weekend combing Cannon Beach, searching for seashells and great adventures, eating good food and tasty treats (no elephant ears though), spending quality time with family and creating long-lasting memories (apparenly Camie has the memory of an elephant!)

Cousins, Corinne and Jayden, playing in the sand.

Bill made scrumptous crepes for everyone.

This is how Camie likes her coffee. . .
with creme!

We had a bonfire on the beach both nights. It brought about some smore's and pudgy pies and old-fashioned sing alongs. Kumbaya!

It's snack time and the prescoolers even get to pour their own drinks.

Elijah's Swimming Lessons

Last time at swimming lessons Elijah wouldn't even kick his feet
with the rest of the kids for fear of being splashed in the face.
Elijah is making huge strides. Most of the first week he would not try
to put his face into the water and he definietly could not be convinced
by anyone else. Now he is putting his face into the water and is
practicing floating on his front and back. He is enjoying the fun that
can be had in the water now and looks forward to learning how to "swim".

Elijah's 4th Birthday!

The 4 year old!

A birthday crepe at the Originl Pancake House.
The only place for pancakes!
A great way to start a special day!

Playing "goalie" with his new soccer game in the backyard.

We headed for the ball park in Bend to watch
the Bend Elks play Spokane.
It was Elijah's first baseball game.
Elijah's eating his first hotdog at a baseball park. YUM!

Take me out to the ballgame!

What a gathering of family and friends. It was fun to
cheer for the home team as they won!
" 7th inning stretch" the crowd grovin' to the "YMCA"

Father's Day

Scrumptious food and family fellowship to cellebrate Father's Day.
The way to any man's heart is through his stomach.
And we wanted to say thank you in a way they would
understand clearly how much you mean to us.
Thanks Dads for your steadfast love and devotion for you families.

Read to me, Daddy!
Shot? Anyone?

There's my nose?

Enjoying a slice of strawberry rhubarb pie. YUMM!
