Easter. . . He is Risen!

We went to church in the morning. The choir sang and the preachers preached. We celebrated the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour and how he gave his precious Son for us, "the darling of Heaven" (that song Worthy is the Lamb really grabbed my heart.)

After a much needed afternoon nap, we had Easter dinner and an egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Hocker's House.

New Floor and Rug

Improvements to our house include new laminate wood flooring that was installed by our good friend Steve Herbert with the helping hand of Mike and Bill Hocker. I purchased this lovely rug online at FLOR.com (love this company! low prices, so many options, low-cost shipping, and easy installation). This rug looks amazing (better than the picture) in our dining room space. I enjoy shopping for home decor. With the purchase of some new couch pillows, our great room (living and dining area) looks complete with an updated style that refects my taste. I think I have to put the shopping frenzy on hold for now.

It won't be too long before she outgrows the sleeping-in-the-car stage. I guess you can't stop progress, but you sure can pause to take a nap.

(I wish it was me. Naps are few and far between these days.)
