Sharing memories together is what makes the years that go by meaningful. The family met up at Westside Bakery in Bend for a special birthday breakfast. Then we took whatever flashligths we had scrounged up and headed to Boyd Cave off China Hat Rd. It's always an adenture when your'e caving. Even more so, when you have 5 kids under the age of 9. But we made it out safely with only 1 banged up head (mom) and minus 1 flash light that a teary Corinne had dropped down a crevice. The kids were thankful for an early snowfall of the season and we stayed to have a little snowball fun!

Corinne's preschool had a Halloween Party on Wednesday morning. It was fun seeing all the kids dressed up in their costumes. They had stations for games, crafts and story telling.
The kids went to town making Halloween decorations of bats, mummies, ghosts etc. So we strung up a banner in the dining room window. But the creativity kept rolling all month long and the entire toy room has multitudes of art work taped up for display.

Trick or treating at Grandma Martin's and Auntie Teresa's.
After dinner we took the kids out trick or treating in the neighborhood. It's so much fun watching as your kids are just experiencing all the joys of "being a kid."
We had some games before bedtime. Pin the nose on the jack-o-lantern was a real hit!
